LSU 14 GEORGIA 34

How many of you ever heard you track coach in High School tell you to run for the tape. You never stop runing until the tape is broken. After the Arkansas game Thanksgiving week it seemed to me that the Tigers had taken their foot off the pedal and were just trying to coast to the end. As a Tiger fan, a purple and gold bleeder , I knew the Tigers would not beat "them Dawgs" last night when they met to determine the SEC championship. I don't know what it was but you could just feel defeat right around the corner for the Bengals.

If you look at the statistics some might think the game ahould have been closer than a 20 oint spread in the end. A closer gives a hint as to why the "Dawgs" won. LSU only posted 74 yards rushing and committed 9 penalities for 78 yards. Under LSU offensive game plan you can not have the run shut down and expect to win. As all season, penalities have shown that the Tigers have not been discipline in their play execution and on Saturday night it caught up with them.

Georgia defense was on their game and knocked JeMarcus Russell, LSU QB out of the game late in the third quarter.

As the Tigers were loosing Les Miles stood on the sidelines comatose, no excitement whatsoever. Give me some passion for "crying out loud". Saban would have been giving everyone with 90 feet a "good ole fashion" %^#$ chewing, but "ole Les" looks like he is about to fall asleep. I just hope we are not entering another Gerry DeNardo era.
