According to a Rasmussen Poll the current American Presidential Candidates have the following favorability ratings:

Rudy Guiliani 70%
Barack Obama 55%

Snowman In To Remove Abdomenial Growth

The AP wire reported today that White House Press Secretary Tony Snow will undergo surgery Monday to remove a growth in his lower abdomen. Two years ago Snow had his colon removed after he was diagnosed with cancer. Snow said that the procedure was being done "out of an aggressive sense of caution".

He indicated that test since the growth was discovered have been negative. Mr Snow's announcement came a day after Elizabeth Edwards reported that her cancer had returned.

It goes without saying that we all wish Snow and Edwards well.

Great Global Warming Swindle

Edwards Presidential Campaign Suffer A Set Back

John Edwards and his wife Elizabeth announced from Chapel Hill, NC, today that her cancer has returned. Based on her announcement it sounds as if the cancer is located in one of her ribs. They have been advised by her doctor that campaigning with her husband will not affect her treatment or health. As such Mr Edwards plans to continue his campaign for US president.

One has to wonder the kind emotional toll that his wife's battle with cancer will have on him and whether at some point the campaign will become just to much.
