I Think I Am Going To Be Sick

Democratics were all over the Sunday morning talk shows discussing with glee the terrible scandals that the Bush administration has wrought upon the country. This has all been prompted by the indictment of Scooter Libby(aide to VP Cheney) for lying before the Federal grand jury investigating the CIA outing.

Harry Reid Democratic minority leader on "ABC's This Week" called for President Bush and Vice President Cheney to apologize to the "American people for the obivious problem in this White House". What problem is he talking about, it certainly is not obivious to me. Mr. Reid if you are talking about Scooter Libby why should the President and Vice President apologize, it has not been proven that anyone is guilty of crime. Senator Reid I believe in this country you are innocent until proven guilty. What Mr Libby may have been involved doesn't come close to the scandals of the previous Democratic administration. If you have forgotten let me remind you:

  • Whitewater
  • Hillary's cattle futures problem
  • The death of Vince Foster
  • Web Hubble over billing issues at the Rose law firm
  • Monica (what else is there to say)
  • President Clinton lyong before during a deposition
  • President Clinton's various women problems

So Mr Reid when you lecture the President about the Libby indictment, I have to wonder where you were during the Clinton years. I think I am going to be sick.

Sam you miss the point. Mr Reid has no standing to criticize President Bush while remaining silent during the Clinton scandals.
